TechEconomy, one of Nigeria’s premier hubs for tech insights, recently spotlighted the resounding success of the DSN Artificial Intelligence Bootcamp 2023, underscoring its pivotal role in shaping the landscape of data science education and AI advancement across Nigeria and Africa.
The event, spanning six intensive days, served as a transformative platform, seamlessly merging the realms of academia and industry within the data science sphere. Offering a holistic approach to learning, the bootcamp delivered comprehensive sessions designed to furnish participants with state-of-the-art knowledge and hands-on skills essential for navigating the ever-evolving domain of artificial intelligence.
Entry into the AI Bootcamp was fiercely competitive, with candidates rigorously selected through a transparent qualification process. Beginning with a rigorous 5-day Free Introduction to Artificial Intelligence Classes, followed by a 50-day pre-bootcamp learning initiative in collaboration with Microsoft Nigeria, the journey culminated in a Qualification Hackathon and project participation phase. From over 10,000 eager learners spanning 70 locations, a select cohort of 104 emerged triumphant, securing coveted positions in the DSN 2023 Artificial Intelligence Bootcamp.
